Oaklands Global is currently recruiting a Stores Assistant to be responsible for the control of parts and tooling to Part 145 organisation, its outstations and its associated engineering teams. This is an exciting opportunity working for one of our most reputable clients based on the South Coast, UK.
This is a permanent position.
•Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and as efficient as possible and aiding the supply chain department where it is most needed
•Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly checks
•Undertake AOG “on-call” and working weekend as required on a rotational basis
•Hands on approach to counter service, tool control and part issue
•Completion of stock receipts and goods in processing in accordance aircraft regulations by ensuring parts are received in the correct condition and regulatory paperwork requirements are met
•Ensure correct storage and distribution of all components, parts, materials and tools in line with OEM recommendations and EASA/FAA regulations
•Aviation stores experience
•Good understanding of good warehousing practice as well as experience in its implementation
•Must be willing to complete or already have an in date dangerous goods qualification
•Ability to follow instructions efficiently and accurately
