Oaklands Global is currently looking to recruit a Sales Operations Executive to join a reputable organisation based in Central London on a permanent basis.
•Working with the Sales Team, delivery of a number of defined services and ad-hoc support as necessary aiming to maximise effectiveness and throughput of sales activities. Services to include:
•Information management including opportunity tracking, client response problem solving, offer optimisation, maintained process definition (and best practice execution), event facilitation, sales and knowledge tool ‘expert user’, wider function and corporate collective liaison.
•Support to bid project management
•Working closely with the sales team, assisting with all the ‘enabling’ activities
•Dedicated time and focus on the media business and tracking of customers throughout their life cycle
•This is a key part of this role and is central to future development of the way the business supports its key customers but is new to the business and will therefore require development and leadership by the individual in this position.
•Close liaison with business functions on behalf of the sales team triggered by time zone or time availability challenges.
•Close liaison with sales team to ensure synchronisation with changes in process, pricing etc.
•Draw upon regular interaction with sales team and market intelligence to propose process innovations to Director, Sales Operations
•Establish processes to improve and maintain data accuracy in Salesforce and underlying systems
•Manage all related activities supporting CRM solutions
•Assist with analytics in terms of deal registration
•Contribute to sales process/methodology improvements and problem resolution
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
•Stakeholder Management – Ability to establish and maintain sales & functional relationships working “across the hierarchy”
•Experience in the telecommunication industry
•Tenacious and robust in approach to accuracy and configuration control
•Commercial instinct and foresight – customer-centric
•Efficient and effective approach to research and investigation
•Experience working within a wholesaler/channel sales framework
•Solid experience working in an organisation with cross-functional teams in an international environment
•Excellent command of the English language, in both written and oral communications.
•Must possess a ‘can-do’ problem solving attitude, energetic and entrepreneurial
•Skilled communicator – able to talk sensibly to customers, sales partners and technical divisions
•Robust, Independent and versatile; accustomed to interfacing for sales staff into technical, commercial and other business functional relationships
•SalesForce, spreadsheet, reporting and presentational skills.
Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
•Experience in using Salesforce CRM tool and BI tools
•Project Management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE 2)
•Sales analysis and support experience
