Oaklands Global are currently recruiting a Mechanical Technician on behalf of one of our leading clients based in the UK to join their dynamic team. If you have a strong understanding of technical publications, coupled with knowledge of commercial aerospace working practices, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct repairs on aircraft components including seats, latches, interior components, drain masts, and various other units within our fully equipped workshops.
- Work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring all repairs are carried out to the highest standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics accurately.
- Adhere strictly to technical instructions from manuals or drawings.
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and fast turnaround times.
- Participate in company events and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical/electromechanical background.
- Previous experience within the aviation industry preferred but not essential.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Must be a UK citizen.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including weekends when required.
