Manager – Flight Simulator Services
Oaklands Global is currently recruiting a Manager – Flight Simulator Services on behalf of our market leading commercial aviation client based in Luxembourg.
This is a permanent position.
•Manage the department responsible for the training equipment
•Ensure maintenance is performed in accordance with regulatory, operational and customer requirements and company policies
•Monitor changes to government/company regulations
•Determine and implement updates/upgrades
•Monitor obsolescence issues
•Work with the simulator internal quality review team, liaise with auditors concerning quality findings generated by Audit inspections.
•Work hour flexibility may be required at times (department operates 24/7)
•Experience managing a simulator training equipment department
•Strong technical background
•Ability to prepare technical requirement and tender documents
•Prior technical, contractual and financial negotiation experience
•Ability to manage labor resources and departmental finances
•Familiarity with EASA’s CS-FSTD(A) regulation, dealing with regulatory authorities
•Project Management experience
•Fluency in written and spoken English; – other languages are a distinct advantage
– Position based in Luxembourg
– Occasional travel may be required
