Oaklands Global are currently looking to recruit a Composite Repair Technician for a reputable aerospace client based in Ireland on a permanent basis.
Our client is seeking a highly adaptable and hardworking Composite Repair Technician. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about growing with the client while bringing extensive experience in composite repair, particularly in A320 flight controls and radomes.
As a Composite Repair Technician, you will play a vital role in the client's team, demonstrating very strong composite experience. Your responsibilities will include performing repairs on aircraft flying control surfaces and radomes, with an emphasis on precision and quality.
In addition to your hands-on skills, you should possess a strong technical knowledge base, allowing you to effectively read and decipher technical manuals. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to advance to inspector status, receiving comprehensive training to enable you to sign and release your work through Form 1’s.
Requirements
- Composite Repair Technician with extensive experience in A320 flight controls and radomes.
- Proficiency in performing room temperature repairs, pre-preg hot bond repairs, and metal-to-metal bonding repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals accurately.
- Strong technical aptitude and a keen desire to grow with the client.
- Aerospace metalwork experience and paint finishing skills are advantageous.
