Join our client as a CAMO Project Engineer and play a vital role in keeping the fleet airworthy!

In this dynamic role, you will be the right-hand to the Head of Airworthiness, supporting the development and improvement of our CAMO processes. You will collaborate extensively with the team to ensure seamless delivery of CAMO initiatives, proactively planning for future projects and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support aircraft acquisitions and removals, managing surveys, service introductions, and export/import requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise for aircraft modifications, liaising with various departments and organizations.
  • Oversee the Management of Change process within CAMO and ensure airworthiness compliance.
  • Manage modification documentation, data, and drawings, keeping everything organized and accessible.
  • Analyse airworthiness data (ADs, SBs, ICAs) and update procedures for new or revised aircraft.
  • Contribute to reporting and compliance processes related to airworthiness.
  • Develop clear and efficient CAMO Work Instructions, promoting best practices and collaboration across departments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders regarding fleet modifications and airworthiness.
  • Provide airworthiness expertise for business development and bid proposals.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment, motivating and coaching colleagues.

Requirements

  • Experience working in highly regulated environments and building strong relationships across teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Part M/Part CAMO, Part 145, and Part 21 regulations.
  • Proven experience managing aircraft modification programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years' aviation experience, with at least 2 years in Continuing Airworthiness.
  • Experience with Management of Change processes and Aviation SMS.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A relevant engineering background (Aeronautical, Mechanical, etc.) is preferred.
  • Recent experience in a UK CAA Part CAMO/Part M approved organization.
  • Knowledge of UK MAA and Part 145 regulations.
  • Experience working in a CAA CAP 562 Leaflet B40 environment.
  • Experience moving aircraft between regulatory bodies.
  • Knowledge of aircraft surveys, leasing, and working with OEMs.
