Introducing Guy Acland – Specialist Engineering Consultant

Q. Please describe your role at Oaklands Global – your job title and what the role entails.
Specialist Engineering consultant.
Q. How long have you been working at Oaklands?
Since November 2019.
Q. Have you always had an interest in recruitment?
Unknowingly yes. I have a passion for talking and Aviation. The two seemed to fit very well!
Q. Why is Oaklands such a good place to work?
Great co-workers. Understanding management style. It’s Aviation and who doesn’t love aviation?!
Q. What are your favourite aspects of the job?
Always learning new information on a daily basis. Speaking to people across the globe and making good friends through it. Keeping up to date with current trends and technical information
Q. Have you noticed any remarkable changes in the aviation/aerospace industry since you joined the business?
No, the only pending horror that will affect me is on the contracting side of things with IR35.
Q. What do you find most rewarding about your job?
Finding the perfect candidate for their perfect jobs and also providing help where others fail.
Q. What is it like working with the Oaklands Global team?
I felt a part of the team from day one. Your questions are answered and any issues you may have are listened too.
