Oaklands Global Executive Search have been appointed by a reputable Aviation & Aerospace Engineering Company, to recruit a Vice President of Sales based in Asia.

 

Location: South East Asia

Director Reports: 6

Reporting to: CCO

Travel Required: YES

 

As VP Sales your responsibilities will be:

  • Support the development and execution of a company-wide sales strategy to target key markets as identified by the corporate strategy and BD team that will win new and existing business, develop third party customers and establish leading market presence in the region and surrounding
  • Ensure the Company has a full long-term pipeline
  • Ensure that all customer sales contracts and service level agreements are accomplished in a manner consistent with the Company’s objectives
  • Ensure revenue growth is met through the current customer base and the development of new clients
  • Lead regional sales teams to hit quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Identify opportunities to maximize Order intake and revenue
  • Ensure all sales campaigns are aligned to the Company’s corporate image
  • Represent the Company’s corporate interest at industry events
  • Develop short term and long-term regional sales initiatives to ensure a steady flow of work through The Company’s operational areas ensuring focus on any seasonal peak and troughs through the year
  • Identify and build new relationships with key customers

 

VP Sales profile:

  • MBA / University degree
  • At least 10 years Aviation MRO commercial/sales experience in Asia
  • Previous experience leading a comprehensive sales department
  • Proven track record of recruiting, developing and managing Sales personnel
  • Demonstrated success in international Aviation MRO sales
  • Extensive APAC network within the aviation industry
  • Technical acumen to understand The Company’s products and services
  • Proven track record of delivering against stretch sales targets with customer development skill sets
  • Results focused
  • Understand financial statements and contractual documents
  • Strong passion and motivation
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong intercultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Ability to develop long term and meaningful business relationships with decision makers
